E’ giunta al termine la 9^ edizione della Lago Maggiore International Trail
Prima di tutto un ringraziamento infinito va a tutti coloro che hanno collaborato con noi: CAI Luino, CAI Gallarate, Sez. Alpini di Monteviasco, Amici di Monteviasco, Protezione Civile di Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca, Protezione Civile di Tronzano Lago Maggiore, Protezione Civile Valdumentina, Protezione Civile Rancio Valcuvia, Protezione Civile Luino, Corpo Nazionale Alpino e Speleologico Stazione Varese, Soccorso Alpino-Stazione di Varese, Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri Sezione Luino, Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri Ponte Tresa, Circolo ACLI Garabiolo, Nucleo Protezione Civile Carabinieri in Congedo Provincia Varese, Proloco Maccagno, aiutandoci a rendere possibile la realizzazione di questa manifestazione.
Al comune di Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca, all’Unione dei Comuni Lombarda Prealpi, alla Comunità Montana Valli del Verbano, senza il vostro prezioso contributo non sarebbe stato lo stesso.

Un grandissimo GRAZIE anche e soprattutto alle atlete e agli atleti della gara principale della K55 e della Dog Trail che con i sorrisi ed il grande entusiasmo di domenica ci hanno ripagato di tutte le difficoltà e le fatiche vissute in questi mesi.
Vedervi sulla linea di traguardo pieni di gioia per ciò che avete avuto modo di apprezzare lungo i 55 chilometri è una sensazione meravigliosa per tutti noi.
I risultati sportivi sono stati pazzeschi, con Walter Manser (Salomon Swiss), uno dei più forti trailer svizzeri, che è arrivato al traguardo in 5:50:51 ottenendo il podio più alto della manifestazione principale LMIT 2022.
Al femminile, l’atleta italiana Guendalina Sibona tagliava per prima la LMIT al femminile con il tempo di 7:57:51 conquistando anche lei il primo gradino del podio.
Cosa dire in più per la Dog Trail? È stato un immenso piacere assistere la vostra partenza… che spettacolo! Quello che ci avete trasmesso con i vostri amati cani è stato a dir poco “amore allo stato puro”. GRAZIE.
Nel percorso lungo dell’affascinante Dog Trail K20 tagliano il traguardo per primi gli italiani Erik Bochicchio con il tempo di 1:52:06 e Jenny Andreola con il tempo di 2:28:50.
Nel percorso corto e velocissimo della Dog Trail K12 tagliano il traguardo per primi gli italiani Mattia Minori con il tempo di 1:06:02 e Loredana Bartucci con tempo di 1:58:55.
Le nostre aspettative non sono state però soddisfatte in pieno per via della K20 che a causa di imprevisti non è stata portata a termine e di conseguenza neanche la K12 Non Competitiva è potuta partire. Che dire? Gli ‘’ imprevisti’’ capitano e dopo 9 Edizioni in cui fortunatamente è sempre andato tutto bene, purtroppo questa volta è successo come
un genitore che per un errore di valutazione causa un dolore non voluto al proprio figlio.
Ho voluto fare questo paragone perché mi considero il papà di questa manifestazione che raggruppa le persone he amano il mio stesso sport.
MISURE ADOTTATE A FAVORE DEGLI ISCRITTI K20 – K12 Non Competitiva
rimborso totale della quota d’iscrizione versata dai nuovi iscritti (il rimborso non è previsto per chi ha rivendicato l’iscrizione della LMIT 2020 e LMIT 2021). Per il rimborso gli aventi diritto non dovranno fare nessuna richiesta poiché l’organizzazione procederà automaticamente;
rimborso di una quota forfettaria pari ad € 40 , relativa al solo pernottamento di sabato 30 aprile su domenica 1° maggio (per richiedere tale rimborso bisognerà inviare la relativa ricevuta di pagamento dell’Albergo intestata a nome del partecipante alla gara all’indirizzo email info@lmit.info . Non saranno accettate richieste prive di ricevuta o con ricevuta intestata ad altre persone);
agli iscritti K20 e K12 Non Competitiva che decideranno di iscriversi alla LMIT 2023 entro il 30 Dicembre 2022 verrà riconosciuto uno sconto pari al 20% della quota d’iscrizione.
Agli iscritti che hanno rivendicato l’iscrizione della LMIT 2020 e LMIT 2021 verrà riconosciuta l’iscrizione gratuita alla LMIT 2023.

The 9th edition of the Lago Maggiore International Trail has come to an end

To the municipality of Maccagno with Pino and Veddasca, to the Union of Lombard Prealps Municipalities, to the Valli del Verbano Mountain Community, without your precious contribution it would not have been the same.
A THANK YOU to our staff at the refreshment points who, with enthusiasm and passion, offered part of their time for a very precious task.
A big THANK YOU also and above all to the athletes of the main race of the K55 and of the Dog Trail who with the smiles and the great enthusiasm on Sunday have repaid us for all the difficulties and hardships experienced in recent months.
Seeing you at the finish line full of joy for what you have been able to appreciate along the 55 kilometers is a wonderful feeling for all of us.
The sporting results were insane, with Walter Manser (Salomon Swiss), one of the strongest Swiss trailers, arriving at the finish in 5:50:51 and taking the highest podium in the main LMIT 2022 event.
In women, the Italian athlete Guendalina Sibona was the first to cut the LMIT in women with a time of 7:57:51, also conquering the first step of the podium.
What more can we say for the Dog Trail? It was a great pleasure to watch your departure… what a sight ! What you passed on to us with your beloved dogs was nothing short of “pure love”. THANK YOU.
On the long route of the fascinating Dog Trail K20, the Italians Erik Bochicchio crossed the finish line first with a time of 1:52:06 and Jenny Andreola with a time of 2:28:50.
The Italians Mattia Minori with a time of 1:06:02 and Loredana Bartucci with a time of 1:58:55 cross the finish line first in the short and very fast course of the Dog Trail K12.
However, our expectations were not fully met due to the K20 which, due to unforeseen events, was not completed and consequently not even the Non-Competitive K12 was able to start. What to say? The ” unforeseen ” happen and after 9 Editions in which fortunately everything has always gone well, unfortunately this time it happened as a parent who, due to an error of assessment, causes unwanted pain to their child.
I wanted to make this comparison because I consider myself the father of this event that brings together people who love the same sport as me.
MEASURES TAKEN IN FAVOR OF K20 – K12 Non-competitive RUNNERS
- Full refund of the registration fee paid by new members (reimbursement is not provided for those who claimed the registration of the LMIT 2020 and LMIT 2021). For the refund, those entitled will not have to make any requests as the organization will proceed automatically;
- Refund of a forfait sum of € 40, relating only to the overnight stay from Saturday 30 April to Sunday 1 May (to request this refund, the relative payment receipt from the Hotel in the name of the participant to the race must be sent to the email address info@lmit.info. Requests without a receipt or with a receipt headed to other people will not be accepted);
- K20 and K12 Non-Competitive members who decide to enroll in LMIT 2023 within December 30th, 2022 will be granted a discount of 20% of the registration fee.
- Runners who claimed their LMIT 2020 and LMIT 2021 subscription will have the right to claim a free subscription to LMIT 2023

Die 9. Veranstaltung des Lago Maggiore International Trail ist zu Ende gegangen.
Zunächst einmal ein großes Dankeschön an alle, die mit uns zusammengearbeitet haben: Cai Luino, Cai Gallarate, Sez. Alpini di Monteviasco, Amici di Monteviasco, Protezione Civile di Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca, Protezione Civile di Tronzano Lago Maggiore, Protezione Civile Valdumentina, Protezione Civile Rancio Valcuvia, Protezione Civile
Luino, Corpo Nazionale Alpino e Speleologico Stazione Varese, Soccorso Alpino- Stazione di Varese, Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri Sezione Luino, Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri Ponte Tresa, Circolo ACLI Garabiolo, Nucleo Protezione Civile Carabinieri in Congedo Provinz Varese und die Proloco Maccagno. Sie alle haben uns geholfen, diese Veranstaltung zu realisieren.
Dank auch an die Gemeinde Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca, die Unione dei Comuni Lombarda Prealpi und die Comunità Montana Valli del Verbano, ohne deren wertvollen Beitrag dieses Rennen so nicht möglich gewesen wäre.
Ein DANKESCHÖN an unsere Mitarbeiter an den Verpflegungsstellen, die sich mit Begeisterung und Leidenschaft für diese wichtige Aufgabe eingesetzt haben.
Ein großes DANKESCHÖN vor allem auch an die Athletinnen und Athleten des K55- Hauptlaufs und des Dog Trails: Euer Lächeln und eure Begeisterung am Sonntag haben uns für all die Schwierigkeiten und Mühen der letzten Monate entschädigt.
Euch ins Ziel laufen zu sehen, glücklich über die Erlebnisse auf den langen 55 Kilometern, ist ein wunderbares Gefühl für uns alle.
Die sportlichen Ergebnisse waren beeindruckend: Walter Manser ( Salomon Swiss), einer der besten Schweizer Trail-Runner, erreichte die Ziellinie nach 5:50:51 und sicherte sich den obersten Podestplatz im LMIT 2022 Hauptevent.
Die italienische Athletin Guendalina Sibona überquerte die Ziellinie nach 7:57:51 und eroberte so den höchsten Podestplatz der Frauen.
Und was kann man erst über den Dog Trail sagen? Es war ein großes Vergnügen, euch beim Start zuzusehen…was für ein köstlicher Anblick! Mit euren geliebten Hunden habt ihr uns gezeigt, was “wahre Liebe“ ist. DANKE!
Nach der langen Strecke des faszinierenden Dog Trail K20 erreichten die Italiener Erik Bochicchio mit einer Zeit von 1:52:06 und Jenny Andreola mit 2:28:50 als Erste die Ziellinie.
Auf dem kurzen, extrem schnellen Dog Trail K12 kamen die Italiener Mattia Minori mit einer Zeit von 1:06:02 und Loredana Bartucci mit 1:58:55 als Erste ins Ziel.
Unsere Erwartungen haben sich jedoch nicht ganz erfüllt, da das Rennen K20 aufgrund unvorhergesehener Umstände abgebrochen werden musste und deswegen auch der K12-Freundschaftslauf nicht starten konnte. Was soll man dazu sagen?
Unvorhergesehene Ereignisse kommen vor. Nach neun Veranstaltungen ohne Zwischenfälle erging es uns diesmal leider wie Eltern, die ihrem Kind durch eine Fehleinschätzung ungewollten Kummer bereiten.
Ich wollte diesen Vergleich anstellen, denn ich fühle mich als Vater dieser Veranstaltung, die Menschen zusammenbringt, die meinen Sport lieben.
RÜCKERSTATTUNGEN UND RABATTE FÜR TEILNEHMER K20 – K12-Freundschaftslauf
- Vollständige Rückerstattung der Anmeldegebühr für neue Teilnehmer (keine Rückerstattung für Teilnehmer, deren Anmeldung vom LMIT 2020 und LMIT 2021 übertragen wurde). Die Anspruchsberechtigten brauchen keinen Antrag zu stellen, die Rückerstattung erfolgt automatisch;
- Rückerstattung eines Pauschalbetrags von € 40 nur für die Übernachtung von Samstag, 30. April auf Sonntag, 1. Mai auf Antrag (mit entsprechendem Zahlungsbeleg des Hotels, ausgestellt auf den Namen des Teilnehmers, an die E-Mail Adresse info@lmit.info senden. Anträge ohne Zahlungsbeleg oder auf andere Personen ausgestellte Belege werden nicht anerkannt);
- Teilnehmer am K20 und K12 Freundschaftslauf, die sich bis zum 30. Dezember 2022 zum LMIT 2023 anmelden, erhalten einen Rabatt von 20% der Anmeldegebühr.
- Wer zum LMIT 2020 und LMIT 2021 angemeldet war, kann sich kostenlos zum LMIT 2023 anmelden.
